Holding Heath Ledger's Key
Of course we’d be heart-broken because the very dear Heath Ledger will not be playing the main villan, but torches are passed and The Dark Knight Rises. Let’s follow this last trilogy that Heath Ledger was a part of in honor of him…

Today April 4, Heath Ledger would have become 33 years old…That many years ago, the most beautiful soul came to life…We loved him to death.

Heath Ledger said,“If you’re always safe about the decisions you make, you never grow.” Today, I got a profound understanding of it. I looked at Heath’s career. His performance in ‘A Knight’s Tale’ was not as the high level it was in ‘The Dark Knight’. When Heath started in Hollywood, he was not as well known or respected as he was at the end; but he took the risk of playing the main character in ‘A Knight’s Tale’. From that point and on in his career, he took that experience and improved. That’s what we should all do in our lives. “I think I’m learning. With each job I’ve collected new skills and information from the last one. I’m not really good at rating my performances. I’m a very harsh critic of my own work. I think of the next one and that I’m going to have to better it…” Heath said. His words continue living. I’ve heard the same words for years now and I find myself learning more and gaining new inspiration. There’s always something new and beautiful to gain from Heath’s words.

I have a story.
Everything was 100% sweet with nothing sour when I was really young.
When I entered Middle School, I thought things could still be that way, but everybody acted strange. They wanted to be THIS AND THAT as if it was a priority.
I got picked at a lot in Middle School; it was non-stop.
My solution was to join them so they’d stop picking on me. It worked a little, but I felt horrible because I didn’t feel free to be myself.
By the time I went to High School, I had such low self esteem. The people who I was around would tell me how I’m not good enough.
So, the summer break came and I decided it all was too much and enough. I cried daily, I prayed, I looked for ways to improve myself, I read a lot about Heath Ledger. It was incredible because this one guy, this actor I’d never met, that made me so sad when he died was inspiring me. I learned a lot.
By the time the next school year came, I isolated myself from everyone and worked on expressing and being comfortable with myself. The negative people surrounding me fell off of me.
My last 2 years in High School have been a huge improvement! I got my good grades back that I had been making during happy times, and I’m so mature that I amaze myself. I say Heath Ledger had a huge part of this. THAT’S WHY HEATH LEDGER IS MY HERO. I feel he saved me from the horrors of school.
I’m about to graduate, and I feel no pressure from the surrounding people at all! I have a dream career. It’s inspired by Heath Ledger, and I’m going for the risk because “It’s all about staying true to your heart.” Yes, that’s the most valuable lesson that I learned from Heath Ledger.

“Extraordinary, full of life, energy which was contagious, infectious in a really good way, inspiring to everyone…To look at the insane reaction when he was snatched away: people that never met him, people he touched through his work, because of friendships…He was a force of nature. To be in the presence of that, I think I can speak for us both. We feel we’re lucky to have met him and have been in a creative situation with him. He was the man.

~ Andrew Garfield and Lily Cole on Heath Ledger

“…He just won the Golden Globe. He was incredible in The Dark Knight! Heath Ledger, to me, personally, we worked on Lords of Dogtown, and he played the role of the big brother of the young three skaters. He also played that role off-screen for us too. Especially for me; it was like my first big movie, I moved to Hollywood, I had all this big pressure like: (I wanna make it,I just wanna do a good job in this movie)… Heath, because he had such a crazy path coming from Australia, doing 10 Things I Hate About You and that sort of putting him out there; he understood that (the movie and Hollywood putting the pressure on you) He didn’t even have to, he didn’t know me, or that we were gonna work together, but he went out of his way just to show not only me but Emile Hirsch and John Robinson the roles and what to expect; how to take on this huge role…He’s just one of these really nice guys, and it always breaks my heart to see that people were saying that he was abusing drugs or abusing that…People who know him personally know that that was not true at all and he’s the nicest guy (like the nicest nicest guy) and he always went out of his way…As an actor, that’s why I watch him in The Dark Knight and winning a Golden Globe…you almost go, “Oh, that’s way long due” because if you know him, you know he’s such a good actor, because when we did the table-read, (so, you get the script, and you get to do the movie…the whole cast) and he was already in character. Me, John, and Emile were like, “Oh my gosh, this guy is already on top of it” We barely knew what our characters’ names were!”

“Somewhere, it’s different; yes, elsewhere there’s hasteTo render new meaning to chances we wasteLike the dreams in our closets and hope in our heartsThat both lie unspoken till long past the scars… “hold on, hold on” she said“For though the wall might stand yearsIt will crumble to pieces with love…”

To render new meaning to chances we waste
Like the dreams in our closets and hope in our hearts
That both lie unspoken till long past the scars… “hold on, hold on” she said

It will crumble to pieces with love…”
